Thorndancer Book One Of The Thorndancer Trilogy Thorndancer Series 1 eBook Gary Petras Reviews
It's so nice to find a middle-grade book that is happy, not edgy or dark. Thorndancer is a journey for the reader where gentleness of spirit is rewarded and celebrated. Friendship and honesty matter. I enjoyed the sweetness of the story, it's the kind that should appeal to both boys and girls who hunger to wander beyond the known and explore the world with excitement and wonder.
Thorndancer is the story of a white skunk who wants to find out who his parents are and who he is. He wonders why he's white, not black like the other skunks. He leaves his home in the field to find out. I really liked this book because Thorndancer is a very interesting character that reminds me of some of my hardships. Thorndancer keeps trying even when it is really difficult.
I recommend this book for boys and girls.
